Produced from unpasturised French Alpine cows milk, Comte has a firm but flexible texture that tastes rich and slightly sweet. The green label signifies the highest grade of Comte. Comte is regulated on a 20 point system, only those achieving a 15 or above grade get the coveted green label on the rind - something we insist on here at Just Cheese. The flavours linger that little longer and the overall consistency is second to none.
