We have long been an admirer of this gentle, fresh and aromatic cheese. Cornish Yarg is based on a Welsh Caerphilly cheese but with a firm texture more akin to cheddar. This subtle cheese is wrapped in wild nettle leaves that give the Yarg its grey outer appearance. The nettles impart a citrus tang to the cheese which develops through maturation.
